Spring 2011 Events

Mock Interview Workshop

The Pre-Health Professions Club and JAWS are holding mock interviews for all pre health students. To get into a graduate program you will eventually have to go through an interview process that can be quite trying. We are here to tell you what to do and what not to do!

This event will prepare you with helpful hints and insider tips that anyone could use.

Food will be served to all!

Where: SUBO Zodiac Room Penthouse (campus and 27th)

The Battle of the Review Courses

Brooklyn College PreHealth Professions club and JAWS are proud to present our upcoming event : THE BATTLE OF THE REVIEW COURSES! Examkrackers, Kaplan, and Princeton Review are coming to Brooklyn College to tell you why their review course is the best! Come listen to what they have to offer and help you get accepted to the best graduate schools!

Join us for a J.A.W.S. Reunion and Inauguration Event! Meet with past J.A.W.S. Executives and find out how they successfully completed the Pre-Med/Science track at Brooklyn College! Join us to learn more about J.A.W.S, mingle with fellow students, and meet the new executive heads of J.A.W.S.!

Interview Workshop

WHEN: March 9th 2010 12:15-2:00pm

WHERE: 1141 Ingersol in Brooklyn College

99% of us will at one point or another have to go through an interview process to get into the school of our choice. Tomorrows event will give you a chance to better understand the interview process and acquire certain skills you will need to ace your interviews. It would be a great advantage for you to attend this event. Free lunch and drinks will be served.

If you have questions, we have answers! Join J.A.W.S. on Tuesday, March 23rd 2010 for an interactive panel with your very own Brooklyn College seniors. The seniors will share their own advice and personal blunders and will be happy to answer any and all of your questions! This is a great opportunity that will benefit your entire college experience!

 PreHealth Career Day

Come meet representatives from schools of all Health professions. PT, OT, Medicine, Dentistry, Optometry and more! It is a wonderful opportunity to find out about different colleges and careers and to learn more about the career that interests you. If all else fails, you can walk away with a school's free promotional pen and highlighter! See you there!

Dr. Susan Schulman, MD

Well-known pediatrician and author of "Understanding Your Child's Health"

The lecture will discuss Dr. Schulman's life experience with a focus on women in the field of medicine. The lecture will be followed by a Q and A.
